I love they way they show it here:

http://www.cleverquilter.com/color-wheel-expanded.asp

When you get there, be sure to click on the "Complementary
Fat Quarter Packs," "Triad Color Combinations," and "Analogous
Fat Quarter Sets". So pretty!

I sent these links to my son in college, who is struggling with color choices while designing a website. He was very thankful!

Wow, both the online color wheel and kuler will be great tools to help design quilts. I bookmarked both of them so I can get back to them when I'm ready to start working on my next quilt.

What a "kul" program. I can see that it could become both a great tool and a great "black hole of time" for me. I can't wait to start playing around with my next quilt colors.

Nancy, thank you for sharing this online color wheel! I could spend hours just moving the little dots around. I was just thinking that a day in class on the color wheel would help me select colors, but this tool makes all of the colors schemes make sense.
