EVERY store has a web site, or by now they're out of business. Heck, I barely leave the house anymore! LOL And I did find a Rowenta Latitude Travel Iron on Ebay, and yes, they seem to be discontinued. BOOO.

Nancy - never heard of Tuesday Morning. Interesting site. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well, I learned something from you. I've only shopped the retail store and didn't know that they had an online shopping website. Also, there is now a Rowenta Effective Steam Iron with Automatic Cord Reel on that site for $44.99. Unfortunately, it has the auto shut-off feature.

I have a Rowenta Travel Iron that heats up fast and does not have a sht-off. I really like it. The iron is about three years old. I assume they're still available. [/img]

Check out Tuesday Morning. I recently bought my Rowenta Professional (new, but discontinued model) there. They also had several other less expensive Rowenta models at great prices--better than when on sale at the fabric stores.

No it is not the one with the long handle. It is a small, lightweight iron that heats up quickly and does not turn off on you (you have to remember to unplug it). I think my DH bought it at Hobby Lobby and it was about $40. The plate (the part that heats up) is about 5" long and the handle detaches to put it in the carrying case that comes with it. It looks a lot like the one I saw on Sharon's video.

Clover - I will definitely check that out, and thanks for the reply. ....I looked up Clover - is that the mini iron? The one on the stick, for lack of a better word. I need a small iron, but an iron in the traditional sense. If you love your small travel iron, tell me about it!!

I have a very "pressing issue". The little Rowenta Latitude has been my favorite iron for years - (Sharon Schamber also uses.) It's small, gets very hot, no auto shut-off, easy to schlep to classes. The handle on mine is collapsing, so I'm in the market for a new one. Anyone have ideas? It HAS to heat up fast and HOT, small, and no auto shut-off. What are you guys using? Thanks.
