Juki machines have a good reputation. They compete with Brother, so you should check out both. The Juki can run SUPER FAST, so you can get a regulator to slow it down. It has a larger sewing area. I owned one for a short time, but sold it. My Bernina did everything better! It is a reputable company as far as I know, and a decent machine.
