01 Oct 2009 14:27 #38895

Beware of the imitation they are selling in the Shoppe at the moment!!!!

I bought this thinking it was the Alex one, and it isn't. Perhaps I should have looked closer! :(

Alex -

Thanks for the response. At least I know that I'm not totally gonzo. The tool looks too good to be ignored.

I'll be waiting for the announcement, when it becomes available.

Yes the shoppe will carry it (and I will too on my own website). the tool is FANTASTIC - however, there was a problem in the production of it. It was supposed to have been out by now and then C&T put the brakes on it - a crazy thing called quality control. MANY of you ordered it from the shoppe and I thank you for your patience regarding the situation. I will blast it from the roof tops when it is ready to ship . [/i]

I apologize if this topic has been recently covered, but I couldn't find mention of it anywhere. It must be me because the tool mentioned below looks just wonderful, so I can't believe that everyone isn't talking about it.

I just finished watching Episode 502 (Modern Dresden Plate) where Alex showed off her new tool during a demo. It looks absolutely great -- I just love multifunctional tools. It contains a seam ripper, presser, stiletto and pointer all in one great wooden casing. The only place I could find it was at the CT publishing website, but they are currently out of stock.

Does anyone know another source?
