TOPIC: blind/hem stitch machine for binding

12 Jul 2008 03:11 #21918

Thanks for the reply, find her at BonnieMcCaffrey.com, she does use a blind stitich to stitch the binding down with invisible thread on a standarad machine. But the machine I was talking about is a BabyLock blind hemmer machine that is dedicated to sewing blind hems!!! I think it might sew the front and back on in one step!!! Still, Bonnies method is very interesting, she demo's it on her online tips, so you will need to search her site.
Thanks again
Lynn

blind/hem stitch machine for binding 11 Jul 2008 16:04 #21891

Hi Folks
a friend of mine saw someone demonstrating a blind stitch machine to attach binding on a quilt. Has anyone else seen this or used one? She said that it attached or sewed down the edge with no stitches showing on the front. It seems too good to be true!!!
