I'm just finishing an embellished swirly tree quilt that was inspired by tiles in the toilets at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire I used the tree from a Robert Callaham pattern. I checked back and I started in 2008, better get it finished It is fun to do but I fancy doing a proper Tom Russell flower garden button bling quilt.

Wow!!
Love the design you found. Your ideas will make this a stunning quilt.
The image of a tree with swirly branches has been floating around in my noggin for awhile. lol
We must be on the same wavelength!
For my embellishment quilt, I'm thinking of a mandala or something like that with a round shape.
I have so many sparkly & texture bits from years of making costumes & millinery. I did a lot of
thrift shop sourcing!
