I also have the Janome's Customizer 10000 software.

I look forward to the lessons!

I have a singer futura, very basic embroidery machine, but have the digitizing software and have never figured out how to use it. I have a Bernina machine, but could not afford to get the embroidery unit at the time. I probably could now....if my son gets his talent grant this year at school. Will have to think about that. Is the bernina that much better? My machine is a anniversary edition. Sandi in FL

Sandi, I have the same Bernina as you do and I, too, have never embroidered on it so you and I will be able to learn together since I want to show embroidering on a home machine instead of my commercial. Hmmm...maybe I will compare the same design stitched on both machines just for additional knowledge.

I love the way my Bernina 730 (or rather an upgraded Artista 200E), treats lettering. At first I didn't, but I finally learned how to work the software properly for lettering, even if I want it to satin stitch large letters. I use the Bernina design software version 4. I haven't upgraded the software. V 4 seems just fine for me and the upgrade is quite expensive. I'm sure it must have some nice new features, but still, not worth the money.

I have not been able to afford a machine that uses embroidery software. If I want embroidery, I do it by hand.

I need to know more about the software folks are using so I can plan accordingly.
