Thanks for the shout out Lois! This is my first entry to an AQS show and guess which quilt I entered?

Stars Around the World! My favorite SOTTT quilt! I am going to the Chattanooga show on the opening day, Sept 10th and I am so excited!

Anyone else going that day?

Hey Michelle! I'll be there! Will be in touch closer to opening day and we can make plans! :D

Thought this might be the place to comment. Where is everybody? I don't know the answer but I did see Betty Jo Tatum's name on the semi-finalist list for AQS-Grand Rapids. Congratulations, BJ! I looked quickly and may have miss others. If you are there please comment. I want to know. Best of luck, BJ!

Just checked out AQS-Chattanoga. She is there too! So is Michele Wyman. Did I miss others? We will want to cheer you on.

Hehehe...... at the moment Rita's quilt is here with me (long story). I may demand a very substantial ransom before I release it to its new owner. :)

Congratulations on the sale of your quilt. I know you have already posted this somewhere but which quilt was it that sold?

Marilyn congratulations on the wins for you and the hubby. You two must work very hard to produce such lovely veggies. We were really hoping for a bumper crop of strawberries and raspberries this year but we had a cool wet spell just when they needed sun to ripen them so all was lost. :( Then we have had blight warnings for the past while because it is so warm and humid here so the potatoes probably won't be that great either. But on the upside we have no snakes, St. Patrick sorted that one out for us  Just back from Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, UK - my bags were heavier but my purse was lighter; my weight was heavier but my spirits were lighter; my quilt didn't win any ribbons (didn't expect it to) but it did sell! All in all a successful trip. More photos to follow on the FoQ thread. :D

It's Tuesday! House 7 is posted at http://www.quiltersnewsletter.com/issues/First_Snow_Christmas_Series_Quilt. Doesn't it seem like these Tuesdays are rolling by so fast!

Rrrrr! Snakes ! Jan...We struggle to keep the Ag. traditions going....but seems we are in
an ever increasing time of interest in growing and eating "closer to home"....I hope that trend continues...

 ROSEMARY--I had just spend a crazy week with my family--give me a chance to rest before you think my fingers should be working again.

Yes Susan--snacks! Although there were snakes. One particularly aggressive one called a Diamond Back water snake had me wondering what I would do if he decided to slither into the boat (gratefully, I was on shore, sitting in the boat). I just wasn't sure if the little bugger would bite me since he was biting at the fishing pole. Isn't it amazing that bugs terrify me but snakes and mice will startle me but I am not afraid of them.
