Latest Quilters Newsletter (April/May) has an article by Lori Baker re how to do a striped bias binding using 1/4" fusible web to fuse the the back of the quilt with a the folded edge of the binding then stitch. Sounds like a shopping trip to me! :D

Whoa! When I bind I usually don't have any problems - but I think easy just got easier!

Sounds great. Just went to the site but you can't order right now because they are doing some web changes as of Mar. 3 and I quess it's still not done. will keep checking daily. Nan in sunny and still cold upstate NY

As far as I know, Soft Fuse is not available in the UK....... Pout! :(

Thanks Margo. Just imagine, no pins! :D :D I usually hand sew my binding and always have Band-aids handy. :x I will definitely try this.

I just ran across this tutorial by Marti Michell where she uses SoftFuse when attaching her bindings to the quilt.
