Just like with batiks, if you can't tell the difference then it shouldn't matter. Nobody else will be able to tell the difference, either. And if you can tell the difference between the two sides but just can't decide which is "right", then you just have to be consistent in which side you use. I made a pillow once with corduroy and accidentally put it wrong side out, but the wrong side looked good with a different texture, so I left it and I still love it to this day.

Why don't you ask her on Craftsy?
Normally I choose the side that is out, when I get it from the bolt.

I got some Moda bleached white fabric that was recommened by Camille Roskelly. For the life of me I cannot tell right or wrong side. So does this make a difference? I watched a class on Craftsy with her and I believe that she mentioned there is a difference. anyone know how I tell, and does it really make a difference? This is just a plain cotton fabric, no designs. Thanks
