Logically I figured that had to be the way to do it... but the discussion was missing from the video ... at least from what I saw... plan to re watch it ...hoping I will get to see all of it this time.

Anna, after the liquid thread is brushed to cover the seam line, dries, and is heat set using a Teflon sheet to protect your iron, just cut out the shapes along the drawn lines. It is a raw edge technique. After the shapes are cut out, use the vinyl overlay to position the cut pieces and fuse the shapes together.

I had trouble watching this episode but I am asking:

The clip also seems to be missing some information... at no time does it show when she clips her applique pieces to size in order to fuse it to the background.... does she raw edge applique or needle turn .. it is just not clear.



I already contacted tech support for assistance.. waiting for response ... but I do not think they will know the quilting questions so I brought it here.
