and I am right with you Lotti, I am yet to aquire the taste for it too although it can make a good ingredient for boosting flavour in a stew or mince dish.
You know how it is, you fall for the latest must have gadget, but when you finally buy your own, you use it maybe once (use some good oldfashioned 'battlefield language' that your mother doesn't approve of
when anybody is listening at it) and then put it away in the cupboard never to be used again
