With the letters all the same..my guess would be in the last position, just as written.

I have a crazy quilt dated 1883. There are three blocks with embroidered monograms: AAC, RPC, and NLT. The letters are all the same size. I'm trying to figure out who the quilt belonged to. Does anyone know if the surname initial would be in the center or final position?
