TOPIC: Searching for this pattern

Re: Searching for this pattern 27 Dec 2012 08:33 #94024

I think that she has decided that she will not be finding this pattern and if she wants to make one similar she will have to either look for a new pattern she likes as well, or try and replicate this one. She does not have access to the actual quilt as it was a gift. I personally think she could find a new pattern she would love just as much and that would be far easier than trying to copy this one.
Thanks for your suggestion Nancy. :D

If you cannot find the original, why not try replicating this quilt using current/ modern patterns of the elements (i.e., snails, butterfly, flowers, etc.). Personally, I think you and your friend might actually prefer a more modern version inspired by the original. It could be fun finding the elements and putting them together.

Hello, my friend made this quilt for someone years ago. Many years ago.... :D
She loaned the pattern to someone who never returned it and would love to have it again. Does anyone have this pattern or know where she could buy it? I was called Woodland Quilt or something similar. I have searched the internet and found quilts by that name but they are nothing like this one. Someone on the quiltingboard.com said it could be 30 years old. We may be wasting our time looking for something so old but I thought it was worth a try.
She does not have access to the quilt to trace it.
