What a fool that person is, obviously knows nothing about the quilting profile world wise, BUT well I have to say it made me feel better about myself knowing that I would not take such an attitude of hate for something I know nothing about..........makes me realise what a better person I am than people like that
Well I think I will just let my mind drift off for now and take a nap as that article is just sooooooo boring really isn’t it.............hee hee hee

The main point the author made is that taxpayer money shouldn't be used to subsidize the quilt museum...and that I agree with. But the arguments she used to support this are totally bogus.

I just went to both of the above links. After reading the article, I am disheartened that something like that would even be printed without verifying or researching the content of the article. I hope the (so called) journalist reads the comments and actually does the research that should have been done before the article was written and truly does find out what the importance of quilts and the quilting industry are.

Ignorance reigns supreme ...... I think we need to respond to this stupidity. There are museums to war and guns and other historical aspects of the American lives.... Why does he feel that quilts should not be documented ? Because it is a reflection of "women live and interests." Right now I am so ticked I can NOT think straight. I am hoping someone here can respond more eloquently then I can.
