I looked this up and it says that "fabric medium" is the same polymer that the fabric paint is made from, less the pigment. So it's plastic, some sort of acrylic since most fabric paints are acrylic paints.
Notice that the person is Laura Cater-Woods, a guest on TQS a few seasons back!

The sheet did not say much. Main ingredient was another medium product which was not very specific

It was a good thought.

I would request a MSDS sheet from the manufacturer. I'm sure you can do that on line.

Fabric Medium Ingredients? 24 Sep 2012 08:56 #89236

Over the weekend I took a class on creating fabric using silk roving. Love the results but you have to use a product that is called fabric medium to meld the fibers.
I noticed that there were no ingredients listed on the fabric medium bottle.
Does anyone have a clue what fabric medium contacts. Even better, does anyone have a formula for it?
Thanks
