Wow. It looks like it will be a treasured memory quilt with all those signatures. Very nice.

looks great! Kind of redefines the term "baby quilt", since it grew up!

baby quilt--top done! 13 Jul 2011 13:00 #66835

Hi everyone,
I finally finished my 1yr old's baby quilt (the top anyway!) It's supposed to hang on the wall, but as you can see, it got alittle out of control and now is big enough to fit a queen size bed. It's still going on the wall, I just have to move some shelving first. :) I had more signature blocks than I realized~guests signed them at Malachi's baby shower.
This was the first quilt that I've cut with my die cut machine on point. The first quilt that I've also been a stickler about those pesky 1/4" seam allowances and pressing. Boy, do they make a differnce. I was also a stickler about my points matching up.
I'm think about doing some trapunto on it when I quilt it, that would be a first also.

thanks! Have a great afternoon!
Rose Hall
ps. I have a lot more photos of this quilt on my website http://www.customquiltkits.com
