Yesterday we headed to the Big Windy City (2.5 hrs if the traffic behaves) to move our daughter into a new apartment. (with a bedroom AND a sewing room, both of which were LACKING in the previous studio apartment! )
On the way, we took the usual bypass around the city just 50 miles from us. I'm bored (easily car-sick so only ride...), so chatty. Poor hubby!
I said, "When you go along this road, don't you just feel like going to the quilt shop down this exit?"
He said, "You shouldn't live by feelings."
I said, "Then we should go, even if you don't
feel like it!"
He had no reply. I skunked him!
Do you ever feel like this. You are so close but can't go there? Or is it just me since we live in the sticks and it is a good outing to go to the quilt shop?
