You can also check with your local quilt shop and ask if they know of any AQS appraisers. There is one in our area who schedules a day to come to the shop to do this. They are done on an appt basis not just as a walk in.

If you do a Google search for "Quilt Appraisals" you will get lots of information and names of some individual appraisers. I would look for one who is AQS certified.
You can contact an individual appraiser, or sometimes having your quilt appraised is an option that is available if you are participating in a large quilt show. I think that the service is offered at all of the AQS (American Quilter's Society) shows and the IQA (International Quilter's Association) shows.
