Jane if you don't like it I will buy it from you! Just email me.
Yup, it is expensive but there is no throwing it out because it fell apart.

Jane.... Try this brand. Shades Soft Fuse.

I got tired of the problem you are describing no matter what the brand. I came across Soft Fuse and now only use it. It adhere's much better and has a soft hand. It comes in sheets or a roll.

Alex mentioned in the current show that SAS has a expiration date. I have some that I purchased five years ago and didn't know that. Maybe yours is old, even though you just recently purchased it.

Thanks to both of you. It is really sticky feeling and I was wondering if the humidity here in Tennessee had caused a problem. It was not old. I had just recently purchased it.

Steam a Seam II 01 Jun 2010 05:26 #46203

I buy SASII by the yard and store it rolled in one of those blue mailing tubes with the lid on. I find it can dry out if exposed to air and then it separates more easily. It separates much worse when dry. Also be sure to draw on the side that is more firmly stuck to the SASII. I know Ricky presses SASII first and then draws on it but for the life of me I cannot remember which side he presses first. Maybe he will answer or someone else will have a better memory than me. Ann

I have heard, but not tried, to spray with 505 lightly to re-adhere the two layers.

I have a problem with my Steam a Seam 2 separating. I have drawn designs on it and when I started cutting it the fusible is separating from the paper. Is there anything I can do to fix this. How do I prevent it from happening again? Would appreciate any help. Thanks, Jane.
