I am visiting my sister in Iowa right now, but wanted to report that I'm pleased with my efforts to loose 20 pounds this year.
I make an effort (even when travelling) to walk every day, drink
lots of water, and control my portion sizes. I haven't really changed WHAT I eat....I'm just really careful with portion control (using salad plates instead of dinner sized plates) and cutting out snacks that I know won't help me get to my goal.
I consiously think about EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth. I think:
is this necessary? is it good for me? is there a better choice to help me get to my goal?
It's working for me! I've lost 18 pounds since Thanksgiving!!
And it feels really good to get back into my smaller clothes!!!
