SchnauzerFan OFFLINE Posts: 28 Thank you received: 16	You could always make 2 harmonic convergence pieces and stitch them together, put borders on, quick machine applique or just use a fun juvenile larger print for one of the fabrics so that the critters are peeking or tumbling out from behind the other pieces. I use Ricky's HC for quick baby quilts too. Panels with fun pieced borders are good too. Happy sewing - I love making kid's quilts.

Since your quilt will be for a little girl, you could make it extra special embellished with rows of ribbons, lace, and/or rickrack.

If you have 16 pieces of fabric, this quilt goes together really fast, and the kids absolutely LOVE playing with the matching bean bags! I made a tube of beans so they could "toe the line" and not stand right over the quilt! (click on the photo for a larger view)

I made a small baby quilt for my neighbor's granddaughter when she was born 4 years ago. I need to make her a toddler size quilt cause she won't go to sleep without a "BLANKEY" and the first one I made does not cover her....

Need ideas for something fast that I can make in a weekend... FOR some reason my brain is blank... and even though I have tons of magazines... NOTHING is inspiring me.

I have a HUGE STASH to choose from but it will probably be scrappy ....
