Yes, my daughter has always sewn with me but then had a break from it. Most people call it being a teenager.
She's now 21 and just starting again and it's such a lovely, close feeliing. Being in my sewing room is wonderful. Being in my sewing room and have my daughter there with me is bliss.
Adair is 26 - and even though she is NOT a quilter (according to her) she is known for making them now and again as comfort gifts for others. So while a non proclaimed quilter, she certainly gets it =that is what Ricky and I call, Living the Quilt life.
Don't you just love roping in someone else? I think our enthusiasm grows the more we can spread the word to others. Enjoy your day with the girls. I get my grand daughter next weekend to play with me in the sewing room.
So Adair and her friend made their t- shirt quilts. they are wonderful - thank you for all your advise on this adventure. But the best thing???? Adair friend Katy has been bitten by the bug!!! Tomorrow is another official sew day at my house with the girls. Up next? Rail fence.......
