Madella, I see that you have the same Christmas Eve schedule that I do! I stay up til the kids are in bed, then put out the gifts with my husband, then collapse into bed. As the kids get older (now 20 - 22 and 24), that bedtime keeps getting later and later, but that morning waking CAN be later and later, too. Unfortunately, my internal clock remains the same, so here I am, after going to bed at 2 am, up at 7:29! Oh well. We are smart enough to know that these years will pass all too quickly! One daughter is now married, and they won't be here til tonight (in-laws, don'tcha know!) and next year, our youngest will be spending Xmas Eve at his girlfriends' parents' home, I'm sure and our daughter and her husband may (if all works according to their plan) be in the Peace Corps in Africa, so we will cherish these family times as much as possible!!
Have a safe, happy and family-filled holiday season!
