Here's a link to a FREE pattern for a beautiful little scissors holder:

I was recently in Hancock's Fabric store and saw a mini purse-sized lint roller, cost under $1. This would also make a nice stocking stuffer. To personalize or make them extra special, you could make a little carrying case for each of them or decorate the handle with your guild's logo.

Needle keeper

Thread catcher http://thestitchingroom.blogspot.com/2007/10/thread-holder-pattern.html
I made several of these...also filled them with candy and spools of thread.
Instead of doing them by hand...I actually sewed them on my machine..it turned out fine.

Also...small stocking filled with candy, thread, or small hand lotion.
Your budget will determine the stocking contents.

50 to 60

(So far, I've thought of printing our quild "block" and inserting it into an ornament, and a simple blockish pincushion. I will have some helpful sewers if needed.)

You are the ones to come to with this question, so... thanks in advance. I volunteered to be in charge of the guild Christmas get-together (even though I'm a newbie...). Every year a small something is made for each member as a favor to take home. Last year it was a scrappy crazy-patch bookmark made of holiday fabrics. I think in the past it's been little pincushions and who knows what else. I have an idea or two but would like to hear from you all.
Any suggestions?
Again, thanks in advance.
