TOPIC: 400 series when will it be a DVD??

28 Oct 2009 09:55 #40154

Shirley, is there anyway you can buy them all at once? They are all so good - I'm not sure I can recommend one series over the others. If you can't buy them all at once, then my suggestion is to go to the Shoppe and click on each DVD, look at the list of guests and decide from that if there are any particular ones that you want to see first. I love owning the DVD's because I go back and watch the techniques over and over again.

I'm ready to buy my next DVD....only have Series 2 so far. Do you gals recommend I go ahead and get Series 4 first, then get the older ones later? Only been a member since haven't seen any of the shows.

Ladyrags, I think the dvd was out just in time for Houston. With every available member of staff at Houston working flat out, I dont think they've had much time to post the news. Its good to know that you've finally been able to order a copy.

Many of us wait with bated breath for the releases.

I am lighting a candle that when we get home the master sets will be ready to view - then we have to sit and watch the entire set of shows - not blinking- literally sitting still for 13 hours - watching for mistakes - if then the set is clear of bugs (last time there were boo boo's) - then they are burned, for lack of better words. We want them as bad as you guys do - trust me...... it just takes time -

Well, everybody at TQS is busy right now taping series 6. Personally, I think they should concentrate on that. So the dvd version of series 4 is not quite ready yet.... shrugging shoulders.... I'm sure everybody has enough quilt-related things to do. If not, let me know. I have gazillion projects that need finishing. I can offer anything from table mats to 100x100 bed quilts, pastels to brights, pieced to appliqué, traditional to art...... just say what you want, and pick it up from my house anytime before 8am in the morning, after 5pm, or weekends. Alternatively, channel your energy into writing a book proposal about something quilty that you love and submit it to half a dozen publishers, or..... if all fails, just sit back and relax with a box of chocolates.

A final idea: Drop everything, drive to Boulder and gatecrash the tapings. :)

You see, there is no need to be bored.

The truth of it is that it takes a couple months - we wish it could be faster - but just like a pregnancy, you can rush it along - there are many steps that involve many people - thank you for your patience - or at least for trying.....LOL
