TOPIC: Binding on show 310

I also used it on one of my quilts after seeing him teach it on his dvd. (In his dvd he also uses piping and it's really is beautiful). One corner came out great, the others not so good. I don't think the quilt was perfectly square, so that probably led to the problems I had. I think the technique is great, but you're right, it takes a bit of manipulation and practice. I'm going to try it again... after I make sure my quilt is square!

I used Ricky's technique the very same day I saw the show. Works pretty good but takes a bit of handling and practice. All that geometry I took years and years ago is very helpful in quiltmaking. But its practical application takes some dexterity and hand/eye coordination
