Oh, yes, I know that. I just got a kick out of the fact that for me, since TQS, it's the ONLY use of it that 'feels' right anymore! ha

"It's a new day" has been around for quite awhile, Alex and Ricky are certainly not the first. Here are some examples:

Lynn, I've heard that phrase used in several TV commercials and I've wondered about that, too. I think it's Ross Department Store that sings "it's a brand new day..." Isn't it the highest form of flattery?

it's a new day 07 Nov 2008 18:12 #28080

Probably can't copyright a phrase that has been used in many ways for many years, but I agree that it is truly a new day in American politics (for good or ill so do not send me any of your e mails thanks) and I am so thankful everyday that it is truly A NEW DAY in the quilting world where I can express my opinion respectfully and enjoy the company of kindred spirits around the world. So THIS IS TRULY A NEW DAY AND LET US REJOICE IN IT. Ann

Ricky and Alex, did you trademark your motto?

IT'S A NEW DAY!

I noticed that every day on Oprah, she has said it several times! :D :D :D

I found myself thinking, "Hmm, I wonder........................!"

I'm kind of a political junkie around election time - regardless of the party in power or the party who wins. I find the process fascinating.

So I have been watching Oprah this week, knowing she was so Barak-crazy! I think she either 'stole' it or is 'borrowing' it for awhile!!!! And today, she has a singer on with a song by that title.

It's fun.
