Kathy, for anything like this, I would use the Elmer's Washable School Glue, a la Sharon Schamber, heat-set with an iron, instead of pins. Nothing can shift, and it's just so much more accurate than pinning.
I have made the tumbling blocks with sewing the Y.seam and this went really really well. Got the Y. seams down.
I have connected the tumbling blocks in rows.
What I need help with is: "Sewing these rows together." What is the best method of sewing these rows together, should I pin?
I'm leaving the 1/4 and turning but my points are not matching up nicely like I want them too, close but not close enough .
Is there a show here that shows a deminstration of sewing these rows together. I need a refreshment coarse on this.
You would think since the y.seam blocks were a breeze then connecting the rows would be too. I got So Fustrated today Its like what am I doing wrong!!!
