Hello All,
I had been quilte concerned about Limbania. I don't follow Facebook so it felt to me as if she fell off the face of the earth. Anyway I sent her a personal message a little while ago. I recieved a responsed yesterday and she said I could post it on the Forum.
I am also sending prayers to all my TQS friends in need of comfort.
Dear Loise,
Thanks a lot for your message, so glad to hear from you. Hope this finds you and your loved ones healthy and happy.
I miss you too and everyone else at the forum, I just don't find the time to get there for now, but hoping to be back soon.
Decide to decline radiation and tamoxifen (a pill that the oncologist recommended me to take for 10 years) as a way to prevent recurrence. One of the many side effects from both is cancer, go figure. So, now I'm more committed to a healthy lifestyle (juicing, eating, exercise, stress management, etc) and continue with natural therapies, supplements, etc. Doing more research, there's so much information, lots to read, interviews to listen to and more to address the physical, mental and emotional side of cancer in order to prevent a recurrence and get rid off it, if any happens to still be around, although all the latest tests don't show any signs of it. Still dealing with neuropathy in my hands and feet from chemo. Also mobility issues in my right arm as a result of surgery and the 2 lymph nodes that got taken out. Having lymphedema therapy and acupuncture to get it resolved. Now, my hair is back! Looks and feels like might be wavy/curly. I used to have very straight hair. I'm praying that I'd made the best decision and for this to be the beginning of many healthy years to come. Hope all this makes sense. Seems like the "chemo brain" is still around, lol.
On the "stitching" side, I'm finally starting to sew again. I started a quilt for a very dear young friend, she's only 16 and has stage IV of a very rare cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma, seems this mainly happens to females around 15 year old. Rachel is utilizing only natural treatments to get healed, since chemo and radiation don't help. Another girl, after over a year on chemo just died recently from this same kind of cancer. Anyway, is a long story, but thankfully Rachel is doing pretty good.
Ok, too much about me. How are you doing? What are you working on now? Are you ready for the holidays? Thank you again for thinking of me and sending the message. Please, if you'd like, feel free to share this at the forum.
Love n hugs,
Limbania(;
