Jenny, I'm just heartsick hearing the news about the wildfires in Australia! Here in California we understand all too well about what you're going through. My prayers are with all of you. Ann, I'm so glad you're feeling much better! Judy in Torrance

Yippee Ann!! That is great news!
Now I need more prayers for us dealing with how to get mom up her with my sister not wanting to let go. My brother talked again with Anita, and she gave him the same excuses. I tried talking with mom, but her dementia does not allow her to focus and she did not understand. Soooo, how do we deal with this? We need lots of prayers please. We don't want to hurt Anita, and she needs to start taking care of herself, and my brother does not want to just 'kidnap' mom, but he did a spreadsheet and the money runs out in 18 months at the rate we are going now, and so it goes!
prayers, prayers, prayers!! Thank you all!!

Sing Praise and Halleluja 10 Feb 2009 10:38 #32209

I just got home from my blood doctor appointment and all of my numbers are within normal limits so no blood transfusion or iron infusion again this month. I have not needed an iron infusion since early October and have not needed blood since last August. So I am doing a Happy Dance and singing (in my terribly off key voice LOL)Praises today. One more appointment before we leave for our summer tour in the motorhome. (Where has the winter gone?) So God is Good, All the Time, All the Time, God is Good.
Thanks for all your prayers, Hugs, Ann

After going through two wildfires in Southern California, I think fires are the scariest disaster. You are all in my prayers.

You are all in my prayers. Let's all keep those in Austraila who have been going through those terrible fires in our prayers also. If any of our TQS members are involved or live close, God be with you. The devestation that this kind of tradegy leaves is just unbeliveable.

Dear Charlotte
thank you for your kind words. it has been a horrific 72 hours here in Victoria, Australia. 182 people killed ( the figure rises all the time) hundreds of people homeless, whole towns are virtually gone, many animals dead, thousands of hectares of earth scorched. the whole country is in deep mourning, but we are all rallying around and everyone is doing what they can to help. my family is safe but it has been hard to sleep or concentrate on everyday things, the tears flow at unexpected times and the heart is heavy. Keep us in your thoughts
