Glad to hear the good news and sad to hear the bad news. I was just talking to my daughter today about the increase of police activity in both the cities we live in. I guess everyone seems to be affected in some way these days. Praying for you all! Judy in Torrance

Hey all sorry I haven't been on in awhile. Life has been very hetic. My one sone has been sick with vague symptoms then his eardrum ruptured an well that was it. Until then though he did not have an ear ache. Someone broke into my house and stole all my medicine and some jewelery. That really burned me up. Then we had my son Alex's 16th birthday Friday. There I had way too much fun and spent the next day in bed. Due to no pain pills.
Joan good luck with your family. I hope all goes well.
Ann I am glad to hear that your anemia is fially under control.
Sharon I hope they get the jerk that is doing all this malicious stuff to you and throw him under the jail. What makes people think they have the right to do this to honest hard working decent people?
Sorry I am just a little ticked off about criminals right now. I just wanted you all to know I was still alive.

hi all! last night I was thinking, hmmm, haven't heard from the prayer list in awhile, I hope everyone is well! and this morning a message from TQS!! It is good to hear your good news Ann, and I hope and pray all of you are doing well and enjoying summer. I am in San Diego, now, and last weekend we were all here for Christopher's graduation from UCLA. It was wonderful and I took tons of pictures of my boys! Please keep him in prayer as he begins law school on June 23rd, at Southwestern in Los Angeles. He is in the fast track program, 2 years full time! Peter is still in Ohio, going to summer school and looking for a part time job, please keep him in prayer. Jeremy is home in VA with us and working for a storage and moving company! I pray nothing falls on him!
I will go to Florida on Monday the 22nd and have conversations with my sister and brother about my mother. Please keep us all in your prayers. I want us to be able to work together for what's best for my mom.
Take care, stay well, and you are in my prayers.
Joan

Ann I am so happy that you have found a doctor who has helped you get healthier again. The really good ones sometimes seem to hide....and we have to go through several different doctors before we find one who really helps us with our problem. How nice you have gotten one..keep him!

Just an update 19 Jun 2009 20:49 #36107

I have not posted here recently but just want to let everyone know that my anemia problem is in remission for now. I have two very good doctors (one in Chicago and one in McAllen, Tx) who have been keeping my iron levels higher than what would be normal for almost anyone else but is exactly what I need. I have not have a unexplanible episodes since last August and have had a really good year. What a difference it makes when you are not going to the doctor every week and getting no answers. So for me God is Good All The Time, All the Time God is Good, Thanks for all the prayers and I keep praying for all of you. Hugs, Ann

Hi all please pray for a dear friend who has prostate cancer. and thank you for your prayers for my gut. I met with the nutritionist yesterday, the basic line is small, frequent, mushy meals! I'm determined to do this, and not go on medication that has more side effects, so please keep me in your prayers!

As I write this I am feeling very vulnerable and knew support would come from the TQSers.

My DH is a plumbing contractor and Friday night we received a call that one of the shop vans was on fire. It destroyed one van and part of another and singed the end of the building. Got home about 2 a.m. Sat. So dealing with that.

Last night after supper we realized someone had gotten into our garage and stolen almost all of DH's tools. So the police now think it is the same person. I am really scared and am putting deadbolts on all the doors, sensor lights and installing piece of mind. He works so hard and our deductible is about the same amount the tools were worth.

The frustrating thing is -- as most of you know -- we have been cleaning out his father's home and brought home a bunch of his tools and those are also gone. DH is going to pawn shops today to maybe get lucky and find them.

Thanks for your thoughts - right now I need them. Frances I am thinking of your family, but you will get to spend time with that cute mom of yours.
