Prayers for Jason, his family and friends...

I also want to ask for Prayers for one of our own. Pina is a newbie quilter (less than 12 months) and has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pina turned 40 last year, and at her first routine mamogram, they found cancer.. Surgery is this Tuesday 5pm (aussie time!).
Me, I want to sew something for her, but economically I'm not sure it will happen... but as one of my bestie's I am simply offering many many prayers for her during this tough time..

He called today and is being admitted to an inpatient treatment facility for a while to work out some things, which means it's serious. He knew I would worry not being able to get in touch with him. I am sorry to burden all of you with this, but I am worried sick. Thanks for all your kind consideration and prayers for him and our family.

I am speaking with him often and he says he is doing better, but being 2,000 apart, he might just be giving me lip service. He did say he might be back at work within a month. Thanks again, but please keep thinking of him.

Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. Mom's heart rate came down with the meds.....well, actually came down a bit too much, but, they stabilized that too. I managed to talk with the hospitalist MD that was assigned to her and he will get a cardio consult since I want it. What happened to patients MD's taking care of their patients? LOL..that's another topic for another forum. Cardio will see her again this morning and decide if she can go home or stay another day. Sandi
