Sharon I am so glad your son is home. Of course our prayers will continue. Hopefully you can go and be with him soon. And Eileen I am happy for your good news on your tests.

Happy Friday to all. Just a quick note to mention that Jason is home from the treatment facility. They changed his meds, monitored him for a week and sent him home. He is still on leave indefinitely and he says he is feeling better, but I would sure like to see for myself. So don't know when that will be. Thank you all for your prayers for him and please continue to do so, if you don't mind. Eileen so glad to hear the test was good. Have a good weekend everyone.

Sharon

I'm sending up prayers for Sharon's son Jason, as well as Pina-that her surgery went well and she'll be cancer free soon.

I want to ask for additional prayers for the people of Japan-every day there is a new challenge for them to overcome.

I'm back here again to ask for your prayers for me. The right side of my face got super sensitive Monday evening and yesterday. I already had a rheumatologist app't for yesterday; he ran his finger along my temple and I jumped out of the chair. He immediately wrote out a prescription for bloodwork, wrote "STAT" on it and told me to get to a lab right away. He called it temporal artery inflammation. I looked it up and it's scary. I have to call him today for the results-if I do actually have this, I have to have a biopsy of that artery.

I will let you all know the outcome.

thanks in advance for your love and support.

Hi all, thanks for your prayers. Pina is in good spirits, so hopefully that will keep her going. A special thank you to Nan who sent me an email about an article she had seen about a breast cancer cushion. Found an awesome site... http://www.breastcancercushions.com.au ... they have a pattern for a breast cancer care kit including a bag for the x-rays, a drainage bag (for carrying the drains around post surgery) and a cushion to reduce the pressure from the arm on the wound... all made in pretty purple now. Thanks to you all again.. I love our TQS family.

Prayers for Jason, his family and friends...

I also want to ask for Prayers for one of our own. Pina is a newbie quilter (less than 12 months) and has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. Pina turned 40 last year, and at her first routine mamogram, they found cancer.. Surgery is this Tuesday 5pm (aussie time!).
Me, I want to sew something for her, but economically I'm not sure it will happen... but as one of my bestie's I am simply offering many many prayers for her during this tough time..

I will pray for your friend. And hope her surgery goes wonderfully.
