I will also pray for a cure! We've put a man on the moon, and can hold the whole world in a device in our hands, but are still losing loved ones to cancer. It is devistating! Just spent some time with a friend who will soon be with the Lord. Brenda is dying from cancer and she whispers concern for everyone but herself. She asked me to pray for research and I told her whenever I think of her I will pray for research and the cure for cancer. Her response: "good plan".
My prayers continue for the requests you all have shared. Waiting with hopeful anticipation for good news of wonderful recoveries and cures!

I would like to share with all of you excerpts from a reply to an email I sent to our dear SoTTT sister, Nancy Wooten, regarding her health condition. I got her permission to do this...with discretion...because all of you are a fantastic circle of prayer warriors and I truly believe in the power of prayer. Here is her reply:

"On January 24th, my Oncologist is having another biopsy done of a mass they found attached to the large muscle next to the spine. Eight years ago, I had uterine cancer and radiation and I thought this was pain caused from that and the fact that I can no longer walk without one of those rolling walkers with a seat on it (so I can get off the right leg) is daunting. We're hoping the cancer isn't back. I had malignant lymph nodes during the previous surgery, but that has been 8 years, so I'm hoping this is something else. I'm also hoping that they can get it out without doing damage to motor nerves that it is wrapped around so that I don't lose the use of the leg.

I'm going to be optimistic.... I kept thinking there is something God wants me to learn from this.... I hope I get to know sooner than later. I've had pain for the past 2 years, and have been to specialist after specialist. An MRI showed this mass, but I think it is in such a bad place they aren't really sure what to do about it.
