Re: The Prayer List 19 Jan 2012 06:01 #74193

Catching up on everything here. So glad things are getting better JoJo. And glad your niece is doing better Frances. I haven't had an update from Damaris about her dad - hopefully she will post here when she has news. Continued prayers for everyone.

My niece is doing better. She hopes to go home today. It sounds like the main factor will be the snow. She lives in Washington state and it's snowing up there.

Please keep my niece in your prayers. She is in the hospital, her heart valve is acting up. They have her on IV fluids, and she is feeling a little better already.

God bless the husband who cook so that we can quilt! Well Jane it looks like it's pedal to the metal for you until December 29th (that's my birthday!). Happy quilting. Rita. :D

Wow Jane! That is sure an abundance of happiness at one time! Hope you can get as much done as is necessary and can enjoy the process too.

JoJo, so glad you've had some painfree time! Wanted to give a quick update and a new request--Brock is the proud father of a little girl! Mother, baby and Father are doing fine. He is still waiting on a new plan for his heart condition, but his heart hasn't been out of rhythm since before Christmas. Wonder what God is up to? Hmmm. :) My new request is I have a lot of quilts to make between now and the end of the year. I'm in the process of making a quilt for our niece's baby due in April and our daughter Mary Jo's wedding quilt! for Aug. 5. Our son Timothy is graduating from college in Georgia and our daughter Melinda is graduating from college in western New York on the same day (can you believe it?) May 12. So quilts in progress for both of them;Timothy's quilt top complete. Timothy hasn't set the date for his wedding; they are looking at Dec. 29th.Whew! My husband Rob doesn't quilt, but he does cook so I have a lot of free time because he's so cool about letting me sew, sew, sew so I can quilt, quilt, quilt! I'm so blessed to have such a happy request to share with you all! :)
May blessings abound to you all!
Jane

Wanted to let everyone know that JoJo, Terry Knott, and I are planning a get together tomorrow, weather permitting. Haven't heard any news about JoJo getting her MRI, but she sounds like her perky, creative self on the phone. :D

Cheers,
Shirley

Sue, I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad, but happy to hear of his accepting the Lord before his passing. :D Check in with us when you can.

Hugs,
Shirley

Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in posting. I am feeling well and for the first time since before Christmas, I had a whole weekend with no pain. It was wonderful. I thank you for your emails and prayers. I am positive that without them, I would have not been able to withstand the emotional toll of working with this insurance company. There are four tests that I still am waiting on to have (one of which is the MRI). On Friday, we learned of an outside company that looks very hopeful. They do not work with insurance companies which sounds like a bad thing but turns out it is a blessing. Once my doctor communicates with them I can schedule the tests and hopefully be done with all of this. I, too, want an 'empty head.' I'm aiming for a Friday appointment with results due back on Monday.

I just read through the prayers requested and have added each request to my prayer list. It seems like I'm talking with God nearly all day some days. I hope He never tires of my voice.

Hugs to each of you.

Hello everyone ! It's been a long time since I've been on the boards and it is wonderful to see familiar faces and new faces on the prayer warrior team !! Praying for all the requests from this year. I'm still struggling with health issues which keep me from being on TQS much, and also from getting much quilting done, but the Lord is gracious to help me with the kids, DH and DMIL. Best news of the year is that my Dad, who professed no interest in eternity or God 3 weeks earlier, came to the Lord on his deathbed--so I have much to rejoice about !

Will try to keep peeking in and see how you all are doing-- Blessings to you all !

Thank you all for your care and prayers for Ruth and I. It means so much to me to know that we have the TQS prayer warriors on our case.

I too have been thinkingof JoJo today so I have just sent her an email telling her that we are all still thinking of her and praying for her. Hopefully she'll feel able to post an update soon.

I was wondering about JoJo today too. I don't think she has posted anything for a while. I hope she's okay. Rita.

Have not seen any notice here from JoJo. Did I miss it? Hoping her MRI was helpful in showing what the problem is. My brother had a small leaky aneurysm many years ago so I have traveled this road with someone before.
