Eileen, I am so saddened by that news! I will certainly pray for Patrick and all who love him. Please keep us posted. I know what a wicked disease that is.

I know I haven't been around lately, and I have no excuse for it. I think of all of you constantly, sending good thoughts up to heaven.

I have a huge prayer request, but I know you prayer warriors are up to the task. DH Mike's nephew, Patrick, has been diagnosed with ALS. He's only 30 years old; but is very athletic, has never smoked, and has always been very healthy. Please pray for him that he and his family have the strength needed for his journey from now on. He's been dating a wonderful young woman who has taken up his cause, and won't give up on him. Please pray to give her strength as well.

He is a very private person, and Facebook is so public; I'd like to keep this on this forum.

Just wanted to thank you all again for your prayers for Mattie. She did go to Georgia today to "start fresh". She will be staying with our cousins and she couldn't be in better hands. They are strong in their faith in Jesus Christ and we trust them to guide her the best they can as much as she'll allow. I will miss her but I honestly hope she will stay and make a good life there. Your continued prayers are always welcome of course!
I am praying for all of the other needs listed on this forum as well.

Ann I continue to pray for you your DGD and DSIL.

Ann, while I understand that your DGD should not have to do this, I also understand that it may be something that she is compelled to do. It is the only thing she can do to help her dad. She will never have to wonder if he could have gotten better if she had done something. Just some thoughts. I will continue to pray for Frank and the family and that you DGD has the strength and courage she needs to do what she feels she needs to do.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and support. The good news is things got under control and also the lump is barely there anymore and the lymph node is hard to feel too. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. One more chemo and then by the beginning of July surgery to get out whatever is left and the lymph node to make sure no cancer remains in my body.


Ann, we'll keep on praying for your DGD, her dad, his family and you and your family. No kid her age should go thru something like this and I wish there was more I could do other than praying. May all involved have the strength to get thru this hard time and may Frank have a full and speedy recovery. Mega hugs for you and all.
