I too have been a fan of Caryl's work from the time I first started quilting back in 1993. Her work is amazing. I hope she will be at the Long Beach International Quilt Festival when I go later this month!

When we were in Paducah this past April, I really enjoyed our visit to Carol's studio. I had visited it before, but not when she was there. She was very nice and talked to us about her different pieces and told us about the workshops she's offering...sounded like something I'd love to do sometime. Her work is very beautiful.
I agree, she is one of my favorites. I was able to take in a lecture when she taught a workshop at our local guild and her approach to creating her art is very methodical and understandable.
My dream vacation is to go to Paducah for a week's workshop no where near the time of the Paducah show. No shopping or no site seeing and no "project" in mind. Just instruction and inspiration from Caryl and the AQS Museum.
Don't know if that will EVER happen but I can dream.
Good Morning, Her website is amazing. I love her work. Her freedom with thread and fabric is amazing. Have you recovered from your trip to see Alex and Ricky? Debbie
I have been a fan of Ms. Fallert's since I began quilting. I saw her quilt "Migration" in a QNM and decided I wanted to make quilts like that.
Well, I've only recently come to the point in my life where I feel like I can start working on art quilts. I have to thank TQS for that. Anyway, I've been looking at her site and there's so much to see!
I just wanted to share. I just love her quilting beyond anything else I've ever seen.
I'd love to see her as a guest or on one of the legends shows. The little bit we saw in the Daily blog was such a teaser!!!
