Louisa is such a lovely lady. She only lives 30 minutes from our town and I was able to have to scheduled to speak at our guild in October. She will be showing those lovely quilts again. Trying to work out a workshop with her too.

I really enjoyed watching show 1705--Louisa Smith guest. It is not my kind of quilting, but there were many things I loved about it...her use of color, her use of decorative stitches on her appliques, her method of appliqueing onto an interesting background. I was inspired and plan on using some of those concepts in upcoming quilts.
