I just watched this show, and kudoes to Sue for such a nice clear presentation of the methods. As Sue states in her 2013 Empty Spools Class description, it was "a fun adventure in learning to design and piece a pictorial quilt inspired by Ruth B. McDowell's techniques." Although Ruth is retired from teaching, Sue is obviously carrying on and taking things to new levels with her own artistic vision. Thanks.
