As it happens this morning my son is learning to clean up after himself as his father made him vacuum the sitting room floor where he has been ensconced since Christmas with his new gadgets.

What an inspirational woman Eleanor Burns is! Really she was my first teacher (3000 miles away) over the airwaves. Thanks TQS for honouring her - and thanks Eleanor for all the great programmes - even my 13 year old son says "Get Rid Of It" as he throws things over his shoulder!

Elenore says she is the one that picks it all up..... maybe your son will have to do that too!!

I just had time to sit down and watch this show. It was so interesting. What a beautiful home Eleanor has. This past summer I was able to take a class from Eleanor Burns in Montana. I was a bit nervous as I didn't know if my quilting skills would be up to the project but she is a fantastic teacher and makes every step so uncomplicated. I had a wonderful time and would jump at the chance to take a class from her again. She truly is a quilting legend.

Gosh, I can hardly wait to see the show. I am going to my daughter's to babysit on Thursday, so I will watch it then. I would love to have high speed internet. :( I have always loved Eleanor. I have to admit to being a messy quilter. Threads and small bits of fabric are all over the place. All larger bits are put safely (but not neatly) in a box for later use. As soon as the Christmas sewing is finished I must clean the basement sewing area. Guests will be sleeping in there  . Must get back to the sewing now. Running out of time!!

One of the fabrics even made it across to England. I have a piece of the one on the bottom right. Small world!! :)

Tomorrow is my last days at school. Then two weeks holiday. I have the feeling that I'll just sleep for the first two days. Watching 903 will be top of my list for Thursday or Friday.

It's scary, but I believe I have several of your scrap fabrics in my stash.....

I'm another big fan of Eleanor. She has been an inspiration to a lot of quilters. I'm hoping some day she will be teaching at a show that I am attending. I will definitely take whatever class she is teaching!

Thank you TQS for such a wonderful show. Eleanor is a wonderful teacher and I have learned so much from her during my lifetime. I really do hope she never does retire as I would really miss her enthusiasm and fun-ness that she brings to all of us quilters both new and older. :)

I had some precut scraps laying around and I took my lunch break to crank out the Frenzy block she demonstrated. It was FUN and FAST. Thank you Eleanor!
