Don't waste your quilts on your children (giggle). Just make a sign saying: "Get Your Own!"

Great show again. I have wanted to make a sign to put in my kitchen so that I can direct my children to it when they ask me what's for dinner - "For Dinner Today We Will Be Having A Quilt" And wasn't Patty Hawkins wonderful! I really loved her work.

It was an awesome show, and just in time for me too Ritzy. I am going to a housewarming next week, and wanted to do something for the "Hobestead"... now what better than a wall quilt that says "Hobestead" ... at least half of it is on my design wall already, after just an hour of sewing. This technicque is awesome.

I just watched this show - really enjoyed Tonya and the idea of working with words and letters (in an unruly way **gasp!!**) but was also entranced with Patty Hawkins and the journey through her design process... Thanks once again!

This was great timing. I was trying to think of a quick, easy wall hanging that says "Welcome" on it. I think I now have the inspiration.
