I will have to play with that- I think it is then a lining up issue - but here is what I have thought of since - at my retreat next month we are playing with this shape - PAPER PIECING!

Thanks Alex. If you drew the line rather than cut it on the square you could line up the same, it is the same line after all. Paper piecing would help. I hope you have time to play, it seemed a very biasy way of doing it!
I'd have a fiddle myself but we fly soon and I don't have time.
