You never would have known she was a pinch guest. Such talent all combined in one show. Maybe after I'm retired, I'll find time to make some fancier gifts. The crazy quilt bags would be so much fun especially trying to find lush plush silky fabrics.
At the link above is a pattern for a cute little embroidered scissor holder that I thought you'd like, especially if you like to embroider and you like kitty cats. However, this pattern could easily be modified for any embroidery design.
It's a very similar technique as used in this show by Judith Baker Montano to make the small crazy quilt purses.
