Esterita mentioned that she changed her outlook on quilting combined with her art background after a class with David Walker. I too was awakened by David Walker's classes. He teaches many good things in his classes but the most important concept he gets across is that we are ARTISTS. After my classes with David, I began signing all my work on the front, like an artist. He gave worth to what we do. Betty Ann

Eileen, that may be bad news for some, but not for me. There is enough to read for me right here at TQS.

The show was great!! I took a 3 day workshop with Esterita 2 years ago. It's still one of the best ones I've ever done.

I do have some bad news-Quilter Blogs has moved to the Quilt Club of America site and you have to pay a subscription fee to be able to read it.

I finished watching the show today and it had so much good information. It felt like a show and a half! So full and hearty and chunky. Wait that sounds like soup. Well it did fill me up with great stuff! Thanks. Karen

How do they do it??? There must be some magic somewhere. I only wanted to have a little peep, because I really have to get some sleep, but I ended up watching the whole show. So, if I fall asleep in the classroom tomorrow, I'll blame TQS!

The video link with Jan Krentz is brilliant, and I hope we'll see more of Dan. I've also made a mental note that should Esterita come to the UK again I'll be first in the queue to book a workshop place.
