TOPIC: rhapsody quilt instructions

20 Oct 2008 19:31 #27435

After seeing Ricky and Alex in Buffalo last week and buying the Rapsody book, I re-watched all the segments on the reality blog. I laughed out loud at the wilderness adventure parts. They are so funny. The scenery is lovely and I can see why Ricky loves Colorado so much.

I'm amazed at the mind that could come up with this technique. I think there's really some engineering genius there! Also, Ricky is a wonderful teacher. Everything is explained so well. I hope to make a Rapsody quilt someday. Nancy in W. NY

the rhapsody book is excellent and really does a great job of breaking down each step. given a choice i too prefer viewing a video, but as long as you have some experience under your belt the book provides all the instructions you need.

That's great news. Hopefully I can at least get one started later in the year. Something to brighten the long winter nights.

There's been no mention of an "expiration date" that I'm aware of. I hope the videos are available for a very long time...I wanna make another one using the book and videos.

Rhapsody Quilts vieos 02 Sep 2008 06:36 #25325

I have just bought Ricky's book but have not got time to start yet. The videos are really useful and I wonder how long they will remain available for viewing?

I bought Ricky's book, that helped me through the Rhapsody process. Ricky has not completed all the instructions on the videos. I do like seeing the step by step on the video.

Like Teri said, you can drag the arrow along the status bar under the video to fast forward to where you would like to be. I think I could use a refresher also.

have fun! Lissette

start the show.
on the remote there is a fast forward button that will allow you to get to the segment you would like and re-watch that.

second choice is on the right hand side of the remote there is a little arrow. Click on that there will be a fly out menu go to chapter 2. (I'll check and make sure that's the chapter) and either watch or fast forward to the part you would like.

Teri

PS just checked and it's in the first chapter of the show. The fast forward button will go up to 60X normal speed. When I ff I usually go to 15X normal speed, it's a little easier to stop where I would like it to.

Is there a way to watch the rhapsody quilt instructions without all of the other stuff on the videos? I want to refer back to the quilt process and don't want to have to scan through the wildlife adventures as well.
