I keep sticking to a few basic rules, like: no sugary drinks, at least 1/3 of every meal are vegetables, no snacking between meals (even when everybody around me is pigging out on chocolates, biscuits, and cakes - very tough), avoiding anything with a high fat content, cheeses and nuts have become treats in very small amounts, etc........
Result: 6 stone gone!
I fortunately like loose clothes. I have gone down 4 sizes in clothes.
But I'm still obese, so the journey continues.
I thought some of you might like an update. Rosemary, you may not be able to hide behind me anymore.
One of my colleagues asked me last week: 'When are you going to retire?' (His daughter is desperately looking for a job like mine). My answer (which he didn't like): 'I don't intend to retire at all. I'll simply vanish - pound by pound!'
