I hope your recovery is going well Becky. I don't do handwork but I plan to do some designing while recouping. I want to make some miniature quilts for something different. Keep healing!

Cathy,
I wish you the best and a speedy recovery! Quilting is a wonderful way to break up the monotony of the day. even if you can only quilt for 5 minutes, it is excellent for your health!

Keep it up!

becky

P.S. I am also recovering from surgery and have had to set things aside for a while on the BOM as I can not sit at my machine. However, I have found that I can sit in my chair, rest and hand sew pieces together - it is a different quilt top I am piecing, but it is so rejuvenating! give it a try.

Hi Cathy, I am wishing you an easy recovery if this is possible with this sort of surgery. I am sure once the worst is over after the surgery you'll look forward to work on the BOM again. Hang in there, Heidi, Spring, TX

I almost got August finished but ran out of steam. I'm having a partial kidney removed tomorrow, in the hospital 3 days and off work at least 4 weeks. Maybe I'll catch up then. It's from the same cyst I had surgery on in February so this time it's coming out! I'd appreciate some good thoughts and prayers and will be back when I can!
You're all doing beautifully!
