Thanks go to everyone for the compliments ...It really helps to boost the ego as I don't have any quilter friends here to compare with...Just finished Sept. block this evening ...will post it tomorrow. I really enjoyed doing this one because I choose some brighter fabrics and they made me feel happy while I was working on it. till tomorrow..... Nan in Massena where it is starting to cool off quite a bit....

Nan, your wall hanging is lovely. I can't see any boo-boo. I'm sure only you know it's there, whatever it is. Love the quilting also. You did a really good job.

Nan, great job on the wallhangings! Now that I have seen how you have quilted it, some of my quilting angst is relieved. I have never quilted an applique quilt, and have been "bustin'" my brain trying to get inspired!LOL

2nd Wall Hanging 18 Sep 2008 06:36 #26215

Hi everyone... Just completed 2nd wall hanging with Jan., Feb., March & April blocks. What a challenge this time. Had a terrible time trying to match upper and lower center sashes. Redid them four times and then gave up. Thank goodness I don't have any quilt police checking and I'm not entering it in a competition. DH hasn't really checked it too close yet but I know he will notice the boo boo sooner or later. LOL Nan
