Margo OFFLINE Posts: 6522 Thank you received: 129	I just wasn't happy with the way my stars looked, so today I added some simple embroidery stitches, and l like it better now! I think my fabric was just too solid, it needed a little something!

I've got a quilt on the longarm to finish for a dear friend(DH passed away) and then I can get to our April block. And now that I've get my web site set up, I am posting ALL of the blocks that I'm aware of. The first 12 will still go on a Member Blogs page, but everyone's blocks will be on the web site! And who said they had to be done in order??? No quilt police here!

When April appeared, I just decided "I'm making it now!" No, I'll not make the first 12 because I'm working a bit this weak to support my 'habit' but I'll be current! That felt better than ALWAYS being behind. Logic, ???? Who know, but it works for me! ha

Yes Margo I definitely am considering your template method. I'm sure I've got something still and non-melting that will work. I'm actually TRYING to NOT spend too much time on this block this week, as I've got a convention to attend next weekend for 5 days, so I'll likely need my handwork! The machine-project I'm currently on is WAY too big, I'm at the machine-quilting stage so it has to stay home. I've been known to take my featherweight w/ me to piece in a hotel, but that would require planning since I have nothing like that as a current WIP. So this BOM will probably not make your first 12 either, but I don't doubt I can get it done by May. This could be some kind of a record that I haven't missed a "deadline" yet!

And you can make your own templates from heat resistant mylar if you have some, or from (old?) manila file folders if you have some!
